I tried to use Trac to manage all of my software projects, but gave up and switched to Drupal. It takes some time to get setup, but Drupal appears to have enough functionality to manage software projects.

I've gotten tired of switching between GMail, Thunderbird, and Apple Mail. For some things, GUI mail readers are great, but I feel like I'm missing out on the power and speed of text-based MUAs.

It may be a sign of masochism, but I like finding new ways to break software builds. A recent article by one of the LLVM developers had this gem:

While some developers are disciplined and build with "-Wall -Wextra" (for example), many people don't know about these flags or don't bother to pass them. Turning more warnings on by default catches more bugs more of the time.
